If you've been add your experience to the comments box at the end of the article. I'd love to know what they have added or changed over the years. It was the most awesome vacation I've ever had.
I've been very blessed to get to go to the horse park every few years. I have friends that live in Kentucky (and I worked there for a few months about 9 years ago) so if I'm going to be in town visiting them long enough, I will go spend a day at the park. It really is a great place to visit even if you are not a horse lover but for those of us that are, it is just the best!! With the World Equestrian Games coming to the park in 2010, I really suggesting going and spending a couple days to get caught up. There is a new monument to Secretariat that was finished about 3 or 4 years ago and the hall of champions is the best. There is nothing quite like getting to see a famous horse close up!! The saddlebred musuem has made some updates over the past year and now the home offices of the USEA is on the same property as well. The lifelike nature of some of the staues can give you goosebumps!
I would recommend that everyone who loves or works with horses vist this park at least once in your life time if at all possible.

Sounds very fun to me! :) I plan to help Manny and Major with their trick training. It will all come in handy as an entertainment for the seniors and to bring smiles. I know I will be smiling. Can we teach them to smile? LOL
