I am looking for a CMK bred stallion for my mare and would probably go for an endurance proven stallion if I can afford AI. I do have a breeder here in the area that I would trust and she has several Polish bred stallion that would nick nicely with her pedigree. She is all Polish on her sire side and CMK on her dam side. Any suggestions for me? It is the mare in the Natural Friendship video on the site here if you'd like to see her.

Any thoughts about who you'll breed your mare to if you decide to breed her? There are a lot of wonderful stallions out there.

I am playing in the Parelli Level three program and trying to bring along three Arabians. We have been doing a fair amount of trail riding and I am still thinking about breeding my mare.

What's everyone up to in the Arabian world? Anyone doing something interesting with their horse(s)? Anyone have foals due next year or babies from this year?

I will go to great lengths to make sure I have Khemosabi in the pedigree. I feel that he proved that versatility, beauty, and good termperaments could all go together. All of the other previously mentioned horses in this discussion have definitely left their mark. I don't feel anyone needs a beautiful, typey horse with an ugly personality and faulty conformation.
Oh, and before you worry--my avatar is our new warmblood foal, Ravisher's Moon. She is Dutch Warmblood and Throroughbred, just so no one thinks she is an Arabian.
I was at Varian for their Jubilee a few years ago--I was so impressed by her horses and their work ethic. Desperado V is gorgeous, but the trot of Huck's Premier V blew me away. He's now owned by Eros Arabians.
Ugh, must depart to write a paper for class tomorrow. Thanks for having me!

I like Khemosabi and even though I don't think he was the prettiest horse, BASK really left his mark on the Arabian horse world with some beautiful offspring.
Desperado V puts a beautiful head on his foals. He is from Varian arabians.

It's hard to pick a favorite Arabian horse in history, but Raffles really comes to mind first. He had an amazing story and made a huge contribution to the Arabian breed.

My most respected breeder would probably be Bazy Tankersley of Al-Marah Arabians. Her commitment to the breed is amazing. I appreciate that while she breeds beautiful horses they are also horses that can perform.

This is a cool Pic! I always wondered the steps to teaching counting to a horse. I want to train miniature horses to count. Any tips you can give?
