Glad to hear the boys are getting along better now. Little Man and Major are tolerating each other better. As long as my mare doesn't come back in season I think all will be quiet for awhile. Little Man had fun playing with the big girls yesterday and today. He loves going out in the big pasture to play with them and grovel around in the mud!
Some leaves are left. A lot more have fallen this week alone. We took this about two and a half weeks ago, on October 21st and as you can see they were already pretty fuzzy. Prophy and Bentley are in their full winter coats now and Butterscotch is really fuzzy too. Fool may still get a bit fuzzier. LOL!!!! This is when I started putting them all out together. At first it didn't work out, but then one day everyone settled in and got along. I am very happy about it because now I can leave the gate to the barn open and everyone can go in and out as they please. I don't have to worry about them getting caught out in a storm or rushing back to put them in. I have three paddocks and all the paddocks connect, so now I just leave all the gates open. They really have a lot of room.
I haven't been doing much of any training with Butterscotch. I should be! I usually like to ground drive the young one next to one that already knows how to drive and I would have been doing this, but Prophy had been sick with a cough and Fool was having stomach problems. They are all better now, but now it is chilly out and I haven't had the time. I'll have to start with him in the spring.
Hehe, you still have leaves on your trees. How wooly will they get?
Isn't it funny how quickly a horse settles in? It would take us humans a long time to adjust. What kind of training are you doing with Butterscotch?
Good for you! I'm sure you will be good at it and will enjoy your time training. If you get a chance, take some pictures and post for us. I like to take pics before I start them and then after they have been in training awhile. I am amazed at how ...

Sounds very fun to me! :) I plan to help Manny and Major with their trick training. It will all come in handy as an entertainment for the seniors and to bring smiles. I know I will be smiling. Can we teach them to smile? LOL

Thanks. I wish I could take the credit for taking them. My friend's daughter, who is 17 years old, took these. She also has a bunch of wild life pictures that are incredible. I really think she has a talent.
