Lucky for me, I am to poor to own a horse again. Once in a while I am tempted to look at miniature horse ads, but the vet and farrier charge the same for the wee ones as they do the big ones! So, it will have to be just me and Barnie (my JRT)

- I'm inland, near Raleigh. I miss being near the coast, but love where I live now, too. I am in the middle of 200 acres of woods and pasture (no horses, just cows here) but it is a perfect "writers retreat.) So, are you in the mountains? I've been to Pickens, SC. Used to have friends there.

Thanks. I wish I could take the credit for taking them. My friend's daughter, who is 17 years old, took these. She also has a bunch of wild life pictures that are incredible. I really think she has a talent.
