- My husband and I have 4 miniature mares, 1 stallion, 1 gelding and 1 shetland. We have been active rescuers for over 30 years and occasionally will have an extra mouth to feed for awhile until it is adopted.

In the game of tag you just ask someone on the site a question and "tag" they are it! In response you write the story and you can post it as a comment to the person who tagged you or you can post it as a blog so all the members can read it. Do you need help with posting a blog? If you do just let me know or if you post it as a comment on my page I will post it for you. To blog you just go to the place on your page that says "post blog" and type your story in the box. Follow the instructions that come up and you will do great! I am really looking forward to the stories!

Want to play in our game of "tag"? I was wondering if you could tell us about the most special story you remember from your years of rescues. My heart goes out to people like yourselves as we leave a little piece of our heart with the ones we help. Is it only horses or do you do rescues of dogs, cats etc?

How interesting to have been a rescuer for over 30 yrs. Very admirable as it can be sad at times.
If you have any questions on how to do anything here you can go to groups and then the How To. I have numerous tutorials listed there. I am happy to help you also.

This has been a really busy month at the farm. Last week we had a wonderful time with family here from South Carolina for whitetail deer season. This week my sister (aka ponygal) and her husband are here for Thanksgiving and enjoying the farm lif...
