it did take a few days for that! i don't know how many times she would fall trying to STOP! she bounce right back up, a little bit of heart stopping monets for sure.
All legs like a daddy long legs spider. My filly Tango looked like her when she was born. Took her a few days to figure out where they all went when she got up. lol
this foal we bred for. his mom is out of Freckles Can Do and baby's dad is out of Snipper Music and Serria G Son. good solid working horses. his dad is a roan Gullia. so who knows what color he could be.
Nice to hear from you Julie. Sounds like a very busy summer for you. I am really enjoying my time with QUEST and the rescue horses and therapy for the kids. It has been a wonderful thing to be a part of and I feel very blessed to be a part of it. My horses and I have had a great summer and enjoy learning together and forming stronger relationships as the days go by. Your job sounds interesting and I know some days are probably long and hard yet it sounds like something your wouldn't trade for a desk job and an air conditioned office!
i guess you could say i ride alot. i have a "job" that i ride 26 miles every 5 days in the summer. i adjust the flow of water coming out of a wilderness dam. plus i do packing with my 6 mules and this year i have anther job that is riding at least twice a week on a forest service grazeing permit for cattle. it is about 10 miles long about 4 miles wide and i ride till i found the cattle. then i have young stock to get started this year too!
Hello Julie,
So nice to see you here! Welcome to the site and I hope you will have as much fun as I am. I would love to hear about a woman rancher in Montana. What a fascinating life that sounds like! I am looking forward to meeting you in chat sometime! Happy trails until then.
Watched a beautiful dance recital Saturday and helped represent our equestrian therapy center QUEST. The dance company chose us as the non profit organization to donate the proceeds from thier holiday recital. What a special gift to many area child…
Thanks Jessie and Becky!! I'm hoping that my life will get back to normal very soon, soo I can play with him more, without hurting soo bad! There's nothing I want more than to jump in that saddle!!
What a fun time that was. Boy that little Major is quite the jumper! Both of the boys had a fun time and were quite excited about getting the tree. LOL
This was so cute of your new boy Butterscotch and his barn buddies. Can't wait to see him getting trained for driving. Did you forget about making that video on harnessing a mini to the cart? I would love to see you make one. :)
Thanks Jesse, it was a fun day even when I slipped and fell in the mud..LOL
Major was feeling really spunky. He has not had all the experiences Manny has had.
