- I have been married 11 years to a wonderful man and together we have one beautiful daughter that I think the world of. We just celebrated our 11th Anniversary!! Yeehaw!! We have three Quarter Horse Mares (though only two are registered) that I love and adore very much. They are very spoiled and love living in my pasture. I also volunteer with my daughter's 4-H and am a Group Leader in the Veterinary Science Program in Upshur County. We are also involved in shooting sports through the 4-H Program. We have only had these horses about 4 years are still learning everyday with them. Although my husband doesn't ride very much, (his stallion is a four-wheeler) we do like to campout, swim, ski and fish along with most outdoor activities.

- Hope Floats, Hidalgo, Eight Seconds, Ghost, Astronaut Farmer, Lonesome Dove, Sixth Sense, Fried Green Tomatoes, Quigley Down Under, The Notebook and too many more to list.
- Favorite books?
- Don't get much of a chance to read these days with the horses and the daughter but I love Dean Koontz, all of the old Nancy Drew books (I've started collecting them), The Left Behind Series Books, the Harry Potter Series (sound dumb?) and most good mysteries.
- Favorite Music?
- Our Song by Taylor Swift, No Fear by Terry Clark, Last Dollar by Tim McGraw, My Give a Damn's Busted by Jo Dee Messina, Every Rose Has Its Thorns by Poison, and most upbeat music of the country or soft rock genre.

Hope you had a good summer and that you and the family spent a lot of time with your horses. Any updates and pictures? I have had some good times with my sister and my Mom visiting this summer and playing with my horses. Now we are getting ready for the winter and putting up the last of our hay. I can feel a chill in the night air and I see the horses are getting a bit of a heavier haircoat, especially the mini. He looks a bit like a little Yak already. Hope all is well with you.

Nice to see that you and your daughter are involved in 4-H. I was in 4-H as a kid and I loved it, it's a great organization.
My day was a okay. Long day at work but now I am home to rest up until tomorrow. You have such cute pictures of your little girl and your horses. Love your posts. :)
