This lovely mare is named Lola and I started here myself. Now she is in training and in the end she will get sold... She is a great confident mare and a lot of fun to play with. I learn everyday new things with her and happy about her progress. :))
She is only three years old and for that age extremly confident. Which made it easier for me to start her. It has been my first time to start a horse and it was really really interesting. With that a dream came true. :))
When she sees me in the pasture she always immidately comes to me at the walk or trot. Sometimes when I call her and make my voices sound like it is urgent she trots all the way in a hurry ;))

That boys name is Pheonix. He is an Arabian Quarter Horse mix. I started working with him a few weeks ago to finish his Level 2. Now I started to tape it and then I wil go one with Level 3 stuff. I hope that he will be my level horse during the Level 3 Program here on the Ranch. (here we have from mai until beginning of october a program. this program contains life here on the ranch and the everyday work. but also training of the sell horses and clinics with Don Halladay, Craig Johnson and Karen Rohlf. if anybody is interested in doing something like that or buy a parelli trained horse, more infos: www.cardinalranch.com) If he won't get sold until the beginning of mai he is almost sure my level horse. Juheee ;)) When I talk of my level horse that means that this is the horse where I work with but at the same time its for my levels too. And that I will take part in the Clinics with him.

And this is Phaith. She is the biggest horse here on the ranch. First I wasn't so in to play with her but now that we start to build a relationship it starts to be more and more fun.

The little foal is called Eclipse. I learned her the first few things like: picking uf feet, get petted everywhere, move hindquarters and forequarters, lead with a halter, ... a while ago. She was a really fast learner although she was a shy girl in the beginning.
The big girl who is holding her nose in is Finessa. And she is my biggest sweetheart ever!!!! I love her so much and I wish I could buy her.
I finished my level 2 with her after my other horse got lame and since then we started making level 3 stuff... I just recently started to get flying changes on the ground. :)) She sure follwos me everywhere. She comes when I call her and mostly also when I don't call her because I get another horse... :)
With her I learned so much!!! In the beginning she would refuse to come to me when we played yoyo and know she even canters too me and comes to me in the pasture. :) And she always had such a bad attitude. Mostly she had quiet her ears back and was unhappy. It took my quiet a while to figure out what to do, but now she mostly does not give me that bad attitude anymore or when I am able to remind her that this is not the way to go... Well anyway fotunately she is not for sell as she is having health problems. Altough I would buy her ;)) - if only I could she is my dreamhorse... :)

I read on your blog that everyone was sick there. I hope all of you are feeling better now. Was it something you ate or a cold or virus?
It will be great to watch your videos on level 3 when you get that done. When do you go back home?
Hope you and Team Cardinal are all together now and having a great time. I bet it was awesome to see your friends from home. Are you guys staying up late and having girl talk and pajama parties? Sounds like it would all be soo fun. I wish I was there with you all and I could be learning along with you. Thinking of you gals and hoping it is getting warm in Canada.
My journey in Parelli has been for about four years now. I am having a wonderful time and my relationships with my horses are better than ever. I am progressing into Level 3 now but I need to pass some Level 2 riding tasks yet. I would love to improve my Liberty and also my independent seat. I had a bad riding accident a long time ago and some of my confidence was lost. I am trying to develop softness and relaxation in my posture and to improve my balance. I love to ride bareback and freestyle and we are beginning to ride quite a bit with just the savvy string around her neck. I find that I have trouble when I go back to my saddle I get rigid in my leg and forward in my posture. It was a bad habit I developed when I get anxious or feel out of control. My Arabians could use a better teacher but we are learning together to trust each other. I love the Parelli program and how much it helps us as human beings and in our human relationships also. Thanks so much for your comments. It has been so much fun to have and your team here!
Wow what beautiful photos you have posted from the Cardinal Ranch. I am really excited about having your whole team here. I am currently reading the new book that Karen Rohlf put out and watching her fantastic DVD. I had the great fortune to audit two clinics of Karen and would love to be a student of hers. I can't wait to hear all about your adventures over the summer and some of the things you are learning. Tell me about what began your PNH journey? I saw the Parellis at a tour about four years ago after I had read Pats early book. I checked it out about 40 times from the library and the ideas in it were just fascinating. When I first saw his students and Caton doing Liberty with their horses I was already HOOKED!
yes I was sleeping when you were writing;-). I am very exiting for the Cardinal Ranch

Huch, yes I'm very nervous. On Friday I had my last working day (as clerk). Now, I'm getting ready for the trip. ;-)
Oh yes, that's cute, when you give me some suggestions. I will have some specific questions about what to bring...
Yesterday, I got my official Level 2 - I'm very relieved...
Hope, you understand my "dusty" English. :-/
Have a good day (now you have noonday - right?)
