Thursday/Friday/Saturday are the fair, but today I took Brandy over to the fairgrounds to pratice the trail course. Brandy's done it before with my friend, but I'd never done trail before. She was amazing. =D She sidepassed, went over the bridge like it was nothing, and we did the gate four times. I'm amazed, she did SO good.
So tomorrow I get to clip Sheik, the next day I get to give him and Brandy a bath, then Thursday is the horse show.…

I think I am suppose to put my answer on your page?
Anyway, you wanted to know how I got started with mini's?
I got started with the mini's because I had an Arabian mare who lived at my place alone and my vet at the time thought that she needed a companion, so I went looking for a mini horse to keep her company. I found a cute little black gelding that I thouoght she would like. Well, I WAS WRONG and so was my vet! She couldn't stand him and broke down the stall door to get to him. I ended up putting my mare at my friends place and then got more mini's! LOL! That was the start and that was probably 15 years ago. Once I got one mini I wanted another one and another one! LOL!
You also wanted to know what all I do with them?
The number one thing that I do with them is drive them. That is my favorite thing to do with them! I do birthday parties for kids with them. I have shown them and will be doing one show this early fall at our State fair. I have done parades and demonstrations with them. I don't breed them, but my cousins use to breed mini's and that is how I ended up with some of mine.
I hope this answers your questions and I put a new video on yesterday that actually shows what it looks like to drive one of my mini's if you want to check it out.
Thanks for the tag!
This is part of the new website game called tag.
I would like to know more about your friend Rendi and her horse Cash. Tell us about them and how you became best friends. I think it is neat that you and Rendi and Cash and Sheik are best friends.
I know how you feel about letting the trainer take your horse. I had one filly who went into a "decline" when she left home. I honestly think she was terribly homesick. Luckily she was not too far from home and I would go visit her a couple times a week. I remember wishing I could tell her it was only temporary! LOL I got a really nice horse back and the trainer is a friend so it was not as bad as if I had sent her far away. I just missed her terribly and the barn and pasture seemed empty when she was gone. I can't wait till you can ride Sheik and post all about your great times together. Good luck witrh everything.
I'm sure you will be sorry to see Bella go but it sounds like she is going to a nice new home. She will make them very happy and will get lots of love and attention. Good luck with the trailering. I bet you will take you time with her and because she has a lot of confidence in you that all will go well. You'll have more time to focus on your other horses now and I bet with school and everything it is hard to get everything in!
Let us know what happens when the new people show up. I hope they fall in love with Bella and you think they will treat her wonderful and she will have a great new home. It can be hard to sell a horse but good luck! I will think of you and wish all the best for you and Bella! She is so pretty.
