If you are talking about the eye shot, your close up setting should work fine. I need to post the one where you can see me reflected in his eye. Ain't this fun!
I love this photo! I want to try this with my camera but do not know if I have the capability with my digital. Would I use the close up setting and just see what I get? LOL Photography I absolutley love but I usually get the "happy accident" more ...

i bet a lot of the training ideas may have changed by now. I miss the excitement of those race days! I rememer how excited KA would get when we would line up to vet in. He knew a ride day from training that is for sure. I will never stop missing my boy! He was the best.

Thanks for the new link to your photos. I finally got in to take a look at your stuff. You are such an amazing photographer! The other photo challenge site was pretty amazing too. What a group of talented individuals. I will be sure to keep an eye on all of you. Been enjoying a new book by Anthony Robbins that I am really liking. I am starting my instructor certification process now and have 60 days to complete the first part. Guess I better get it in gear!!!!
Are you training every weekend now? I would love to train along with you even if I wasn't competing. Can't wait to hear more about it all. What is your boy Jambo's resting P and R's. Do you feel like he has 100 miler inside?

- Still can't find you on SmugMug. How can you sell pictures if we can't see them? LOL
Keep going to Goethe and I bet you will find someone to ride with and maybe train with. MOjo is a funny thing isn't it? I would love to have a ride partner again and even someone to ride for the day with. Slick didn't even ride his horse this year due to on going back issues after his L2 fx. He has been seeing a chiropracter and getting some therapy and is finally doing better. I am hoping for a better ride year this coming Spring and Summer.

- Good to hear you are doing well with training. I wish we could train together and do rides together. Then I would get my butt in high gear and work towards my first hundred miler. I know my girls could do it! Tell your niece congrats and send us a link to pics if you have one. I tried to go in to see your pictures with the link but it just opened to the home page. I could not find your stuff!!!

- It is a beautiful weekend here and I can't wait to get outside. We are putting more of our roof on this weekend but I can surely find an hour or two to hit the trail! How is the endurance training going? I am thinking about doing so many things that I need to have about 48 hours in every day! Be careful and stay safe this weekend. I miss ya!

- Great to hear from you! Don't out dang "day jobs" keep getting in our way. I recently bit the bullet and took the CPC-H exam and am waiting to hear back with results yet. Congrats on your determination to advance your photography business. I am working on the book and a small lessons and maybe boarding business, Right now I am staying at my sisters house with my Mom. Her problems with short term memory have advanced to serious dementia issues and she is not able to stay alone anymore. Tough decisions ahead and we are kind of on hold with out own lives for a period of time. Glad you and Bo are keeping busy on the trails so ride an extra few miles for me. I miss you as always! Take care and write again when you can.

How are things in sunny Florida these days? I hope you have had a great summer but you are starting to worry me as it has been a long while since we talked last. All is well here and I have had a good summer. Fun with the horses and my little mini and even had some video done by my sister. How was everything at the Egyptian event? Did the posters go over great and did you get some more photo opportunities from that? They were gorgeous! I really hope you and Bo were able to get to endurance trail ride a lot. Someday I hope we can ride some trail together and talk about old times! Let me know how things are going if you can.

Thanks. I wish I could take the credit for taking them. My friend's daughter, who is 17 years old, took these. She also has a bunch of wild life pictures that are incredible. I really think she has a talent.
