My husbands mare C Bar Sis is two eyed jack breeding and she is an awesome cool horse. She likes to move out and get with the program but is a pretty solid trail horse for us. We have had her for about 12 years and I think she is a great all around…
I would appriciate anyones thoughts on horses from a Two Eyed Jack breeding. Good or bad, I am very curious and would love any info! Thanks in advance!!

Katherine Alexander said… - Real sorry it took me so long to get back out here. Yes, my daughter barrel races but my daughter didn't train her horse. She barrel races on our older horse and that one was an 8X Arkansas Barrel Champion before we got her. She already had the training and right now is just enjoying the slower pace of training my daughter how to barrel race. My girl is only 9 years old so this was the perfect horse for her. The horse is now 27. She loves the barrels as much as my daughter but my daughter doesn't even use a bit on this horse. Just a halter and clip reins in the arena. Had lots of folks tell me that I was crazy to let her ride like that last season but those same folks were wanting to buy that very horse by the middle of the season. Sorry that I am not much help here but we are really still learning ourselves. Me, I am a trail rider only. I really enjoy the camping, fishing and trails myself. My daughter likes that also but she also likes the competition.

Watched a beautiful dance recital Saturday and helped represent our equestrian therapy center QUEST. The dance company chose us as the non profit organization to donate the proceeds from thier holiday recital. What a special gift to many area child…

What a fun time that was. Boy that little Major is quite the jumper! Both of the boys had a fun time and were quite excited about getting the tree. LOL

Major was feeling really spunky. He has not had all the experiences Manny has had.
He is pretty! I like his blaze and perfectly matched hind socks.
