Visited at your blog Suzanne and was sorry to hear of your tough year. 2008 was a trying time for us as well and 2009 has not began well either. I guess it is a time when I have learned to appreciate the help of friends and the support of family. I wish you well and pray for blessings and peace as well.
Hope you have been enjoying all our nice weather and got in plenty of riding before the cold snap. I had a super nice trail ride last Sunday but today it was very cold and we had "barn chorse" to get done. I played with my black horse "Cash" inside and played some hide and seek with the mini! It was still a fun day and no matter what I am doing with the horses, it seems like we are always having a good time. Hope this finds you and yours well and happy.
What a beautiful quotation of the month. So very true about horses and many other parts of our lives. When things or people are only appreciated for their surface appearance so much is lost of their deeper meaning and spirit. Thanks for that reminder. Hope all in your world is well.
I hope you are able to enjoy this pretty Fall weather. I am taking some family leave time and helping my sister (ponygal) with my Mom who is 93 years old. I take a walk in the afternoons and miss my horses a bit but am enjoying spending some extra time with Mom. So if you get a chance, ride an extra bit of trail for me today and enjoy the autumn sunshine. Hope you and Indy, Ami and all the barn kitties are doing well.
I was just reading one of your posts about competitive riding in Missouri. Did you ever do a ride at Greensfelder Park? My distance partner and I did a great ride there back in the late 80s or early 90s. Isn't it funny how you remember the ride and not the year! Hope you and Indy are having a great summer.
Hello Suzanne Glad to meet ya and sure hope you have as much fun here as I do. I hope to see more of your photos and video etc. Maybe we will meet up in chat sometime. Till than , may all your trails have happy endings.
