I started riding at Haggis Farm in England when I was 11/12 years old. I was instantly hooked after the first lesson and made some wonderful horse friends, who taught me what I never could believe a horse could. One that I will forever remember is Sparky, a Thoroughbred who used to jump. I fed him carrots after each lesson (not before because he became strangely lazy...). Although he was getting old, we managed to do some splendid jumps because he had such a flowing canter. We both enjoyed it and somehow understood each other at a deeper level. The instructor was amazed because no one could ever get him going. The last time I saw him I was not aware I would never see him again, but fate let me say goodbye...I let him out into the field and talked to him longer than I usually did.
I miss him so terribly and have never "met" another like him with such character and intelligence. But he was in good hands and hopefully is now enjoying a peaceful and happy retirement.

Thanks Jessie and Becky!! I'm hoping that my life will get back to normal very soon, soo I can play with him more, without hurting soo bad! There's nothing I want more than to jump in that saddle!!
What a fun time that was. Boy that little Major is quite the jumper! Both of the boys had a fun time and were quite excited about getting the tree. LOL
This was so cute of your new boy Butterscotch and his barn buddies. Can't wait to see him getting trained for driving. Did you forget about making that video on harnessing a mini to the cart? I would love to see you make one. :)
Thanks Jesse, it was a fun day even when I slipped and fell in the mud..LOL
Major was feeling really spunky. He has not had all the experiences Manny has had.
